As He Sees

If I could give you
Just one thing
It would be the ability
To see yourself
As Jesus sees

Not to have to accept
The opinions of others
Not to be conformed
To the standards
Of this world

But to have
The strength to stand
Knowing the purpose
For you
That has been planned

With the knowledge
That you are truly unique
Given the abilities
To achieve
What He has foreseen

And those times
When you feel alone
His faith in you
Will guide you home

So I hope one day
You will see
Through His eyesAnd discover what your life
Truly means

For richesCan come and go
But there is no price
That can be paid
For the peace
That comes
From Him alone
